Neta Harari Navon is an Israeli painter based in Tel Aviv. Her work explores memory, trauma, perception, and the materiality of painting, treating emotion and reality as elements that can be layered, concealed, and revealed.

Rather than constructing a narrative, she engages with voids and paradoxes through repeated acts of covering, erasing, and peeling back layers of white gesso. On the painted surface, images gradually emerge as traces rather than certainties: a liminal, mediating space where different layers coexist. Moving between realism and abstraction, her paintings bring historical imagery into dialogue with lived experience, exploring the fragile boundaries between beauty and violence.

Harari Navon studied Fine Art at Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Jerusalem, and at the HaMidrasha School of Art, Beit Berl. She also holds a B.A. in Theater Studies and Costume Design from Tel Aviv University and an M.A. in Art Therapy from David Yellin College. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches at Bezalel.

Her work has been exhibited extensively in major Israeli museums, including the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, The Israel Museum, and Haifa Museum of Art. Recent projects include Judgment Day, currently on view at MUZA – Eretz Israel Museum following its permanent acquisition, and a major solo exhibition opening at the Herzliya Museum in October 2027.
